Dubai Land Department Forms Alliance to Attract Real Estate Investment
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced the launch of the strategic alliance “Real Estate i,” bringing together major developers including Danube Properties, Imtiaz Developments, MAG Lifestyle Development, and Fakhruddin Properties. The initiative aims to strengthen Dubai’s position on the global real estate stage and attract more foreign investment as part of the “Real Estate Development Strategy 2033.”
Alliance members have committed to ensuring project transparency and offering international investors special conditions: flexible payment plans, enhanced ROI, and specialized financial instruments. According to forecasts by Shuaa Capital, these measures could boost capital inflows by 20–25% by 2026.
DLD data shows that Dubai’s real estate market grew by 15% in the first half of 2025, reaching AED 179 billion. Around 40% of transactions are now made by foreign investors, particularly from Asia and Europe. Alliance companies are already planning to expand their presence in these regions, aiming to increase the share of international buyers to 35–40%.
The alliance covers not only residential, but also commercial, hospitality, educational, and technology real estate. Imtiaz Developments will focus on commercial and educational projects, while Fakhruddin Properties will lead hospitality and tech initiatives—the latter already in talks with investors from Singapore and South Korea regarding tech park developments.
Real Estate i will also promote the digitalization of transactions, including the implementation of smart contracts and blockchain platforms. According to Knight Frank, this could speed up deal processing by 30% and reduce transaction costs.
The alliance will further reinforce Dubai’s position among the global leaders in real estate—where it already ranks in the top three alongside Singapore and London—and is set to significantly increase foreign investment in the long term.
